Clara Rêgo, Porto, Portugal, 1985

Visual artist creating sculptural pieces modeled manually in ceramics, whose main inspirations are the shapes and textures of corals and marine elements, rock formations, minerals, fungi, microscopic images and various other natural elements. The symbolism of her creations draws on various mythologies, dreams and meditations and by crossing them with imaginary utopian narratives, she creates elements of feminine expression and empowerment and representations of possible natures, in a creative movement of catharsis and ritual.
